One evening this week we spent almost an hour on the phone with our eight year old granddaughter. We giggled while using special effects to create silly, distorted faces with puppy ears, pig noses and rainbows. She loved teaching her grandmas new tricks.
Also, physical therapy started in earnest with both increased pain and increased capacity. While I’m getting stronger, I still feel like such a wimp.
I had friends visit almost every day. They both lifted my spirits and wore me out. And somehow I managed to not take one picture.
Enjoy the photos of my pups and know that I’m slogging along through this healing process, wishing I were home yet deeply committed to seeing it through.

We have been notified that our (OUR) property – in Bacalar, ’next’ to you and Lisa (almost next to you) has “sold” and we have until oct one to get all of our things out. I am in Maine in the woods writing – no airports near – and Bob is home awaiting a hip replacement (surgery date is January due to back log of patients) and he can barely walk.
