When writing about siblings last week, I remembered that this week is the twenty-fifth anniversary of my brother’s death from brain cancer. I thought I’d repost a blog I wrote earlier this year and take a week off.
Still miss you every day Michael.

DOS TORTAS

My brother, my only sibling and my childhood companion through many moves as our dad was transferred in the military, died this past April. We lived far apart but remained close. He will always be with me. I remember you running the marathon in your brother’s memory. Marcia

I have only one sibling, a younger sister. I absolutely adore her, and we are very close. I can’t imagine the loss. I read about your brother before, but once again, I’m sorry.

One of the worst experiences of my life. Glial blastoma is horrible. Some people today are living after surgery. Depends on the part of the brain it attaches to. However they are never the same.
